Wind Power Generators Vids

Build Wind Power Generators and Solar Panels

www.maglevwindturbine.com Demo CGI for proposed 2GW Magnetic Leviatated wind Turbine. *Efficient Frictionless Power Generation with less maintenance, compared to HAWT. No oil change or replacement of the bearings, gears. Since, MAGLEV does NOT require such. ** Current bearing technology has forced wind turbine designers into horizontal spindle three bladed wind turbines. In this design the huge blades are connected to a spindle in the center. The bearings that support the spindle and control the pitch of the blades (which can be hundreds of feet long) see huge pitch-moment loading, some of which is manifest as torque energy that is focused through the center spindle. The target speed for the spindle is 18 or 20 rpm and the bearings holding the spindle are mounted in a huge casting which also contains a large gearbox stepping the speed up to 1800 to 2000 RPMs which allows for the proper surface speed relationship between the coils and magnets. It is necessary to invert or condition the current, which is expensive. This gearbox is full of many large bearings, gears and castings; for a 2 MW turbine the gearbox can easily weigh 30 tons. This gearbox needs to be mounted on the top of a pole more than 150 feet in the air and be able to support the turbine blades under full-force wind conditions. ***MAGLEV Power Generation, the pitch moment ratio is closer to 1-to-1 then the 100-to-1 as with a horizontal spindle design.

    @looni3
can’t disclose the price on YouTube post, company policy.
But it’s in the millions. Also, cost of raw materials are constantly changing.

  2. ztcrown Says:

    @schicktd
    LOL !!
    EMP protection is included.

I like this. I have been waiting on this kind of technology or anything to replace fossil fuel as our main source of transportation/energy. I would like to know if the scale is correct. If it is WOW! Because I noticed the tiny helicopter flying in on top the turbine. The cost of that has to be in the billions. But in the long run I can easily see where it could pay for itself quickly and easily. Kudos! Can I come and work there? I could help build the turbines. lol

@ztcrown Which brings me to another town in my home state: Hyannis, MA. Even with Kennedy dead, the rich are still contending that Cape Wind turbines 2 miles away will ruin their view, their luxury home values, birds (bullshit), and get in the way of their luxury yachts. NIMBY happens even when it’s nobody’s back yard. Offshore isn’t as cost effective. Even with MA subsidies and price fixes to make the purchase of clean power mandatory :(

Don’t vote for Romney if he runs.

  5. TheNickhis Says:

Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t it require power to power the electromagnets?

  6. ztcrown Says:

    @TheNickhis
of course. but Maglev Wind Turbine uses Rare Earth Neodymium Magnets, which requires No power.

  7. lightspeedkiller Says:

@looni3 $53 million for the one above

  8. lightspeedkiller Says:

    i produces 2 gigawatts a day?

  9. MrFendaPlaya Says:

What happens when your foot gets caught in the turbine? 0.o

  10. davids5a2 Says:

Any plans on actually realizing it?

  11. notwikidub Says:

shame you can’t spell global. interesting otherwise.

  12. Phacias Says:

There is friction among magnetic fields. The stronger the magnets are, the greater the power loss is.

  13. ewmegoolies Says:

    I’ll take two.

  14. jeffmolly1 Says:

    Mine’s bigger. ha ha

  15. willmasahiro Says:

really cool. too bad it’s not real. ” Maglev wind turbine technology”! hahahaha…lol

  16. lebensraummetal Says:

Mr. Narrator, I’d like to introduce you to my friends “Audio Compression” and “Pop Filter.”

  17. Eqvaliser Says:

You should shoot the narrator, and hire someone with a “normal” non-action star voice.. lmao..

anyway would love to see this buildt.. ;)

  18. teamgod Says:

How much did you pay the narrator? Sounds like he should be on the Price is Right announcing products to hopeful contestants.

Fight for Clean and Free Fuel… (((( Electric Cars… Maglev Turbines and Trains….))))
its your right to drive atleast 40 miles in less $ 1 = Electric Cars
its your right to pay less $10 / month Electricity charges = Maglev Turbines
its your right to pay $1 for interstate + intercity Travel / month = Maglev Train
fight for your right …to make this world a better place for you and for the whole of Humanity….

  20. damaged01 Says:

If we don’t build it, the Chinese will.

  21. FeedBleeders Says:

Are you serious? The cost to produce such a mammoth would greatly outweigh the cost of acreage and material to produce a wind farm. Not to mention the complete lack of safety and obvious design flaws.

You lose wind efficiency very easily because the high winds towards the top of the tower carries the load of moving the entire machine. A great reason why horizontal turbines are more efficient. The blades are very light and are very high so you get far better wind to rpm ratio.

  22. molebeus Says:

@wowiejunior yep just like the tits in monty python LMAO

  23. molebeus Says:

like to see a residential working unit

  24. donperry1 Says:

@ztcrown and neodynium so strong it could crush your fingers

  25. chiptechsmith Says:

@damaged01 … using our patents, without paying for them
